Accord Support Model
Explore case-based support estimates alongside statutory calculations. Review comparable decisions, the assumptions behind the results, and the strength of the available evidence as you evaluate a settlement position.
When comparable evidence is sparse, the model says so, and an estimate may be withheld rather than forced.

The model’s reference corpus was assembled through systematic review of published New York support decisions within the study period. The search sought every decision disclosing sufficient financial inputs and calculation detail to reconstruct the relevant award, including income findings, caps applied, and support amounts.
Numerical comparability depends on data sufficiency. An opinion that reports an award without its underlying inputs or calculation, including some appellate opinions, cannot support reconstruction of that result. Decisions are coded with supporting source references, and only eligible records with sufficient information for the particular estimate contribute to it.
Read the opinions and preserve the relevant findings, quotations and citations.
Organize facts and outcomes, identify missing information, and distinguish usable evidence.
Evaluate estimates while withholding the tested action and its related decisions.
Present comparable cases, assumptions and the strength of the available evidence.
Income relative to the relevant caps, number of children, procedural posture, geography, and the assigned judge's decisions where available. Child-support comparisons also consider the payor's income share. Multiple decisions from the same action are adjusted so they do not inflate its influence. Missing findings remain missing; unsuitable or unresolved outcomes are withheld.
Dated build facts, not live counters. Second readings are research review, not external validation of forecasting.
